Every now and then something unexpected happens, so today as we were adressed to the fact that the Frysklab is at guest at our library. So Dr. Bucky Lab and Aaron our studnets assistant took the opportunity to visit this rolli g workshop. The frysklab is the mobile fablab from the region Friesland in the Netherlands. Back then they used this truck from the library to bring the people of the region books.
Now they got rid of the book shelves and equipped the truck with 3D printers, lasercutters and a bunch of other innovation to show the new possibilties using these new technologies. Often they are teaching schools, or as in this case support a course or class.
Have a look, what a nice environment, our mobile workshop was in the beginning also based on a truck, but the limited budget had opted for the concept with the flightcases, but this truck really shows the power of coming by and running your shop directly. Maybe one day ....
